DESCRIPTION

Fluor free solid base for competitive use. To be used with compact wet snow and artificial mixed polished and/or frozen snow, snow temperature from -3°C to 0°C. Air humidity from 50% to 100%. Hot application with a waxing iron at 140°C. Together with GM Gel Base, it is the ideal choice as a base to which GM BOOST powder or liquid accelerators can be added.
METHOD OF USE

HOT APPLICATION WITH A WAXING IRON

1. Drip the block of product onto the base for 20 cm by placing it in contact with the base of the waxing iron set at the temperature indicated for each specific product and then immediately spread the wax with a regular back and forth movement (from tip to tail);
2.Repeat the operation for the entire base and finally perform a continuous passage from tip to tail (about 4/5 cm per second for GM Base Cold and Med, about 3 cm per second for GM Base Hot);

3.(mix with a hardener) If the snow conditions require the use of a harder base, over the freshly hardened GM BASE place some ARTIC BASE powder (the greater the abrasion of the snow, the greater the amount of powder) and with the waxing iron at 150°C perform a continuous pass from tip to tail at low speed (about 3 cm per second) perfectly melting the powder into the underlying solid paraffin.
4.Free the side of the ski and the side of the edges from the solidified product with a well-sharpened plexyglass spatula;
5.Wait at least 15 minutes to allow the base to cool and the product to solidify; then remove the excess solidified product with a well-sharpened spatula by applying gentle pressure;
6.Clear the base structure using a stiff steel hand brush;
7.Brush the base with a manual or rotating stiff brass brush;
8.Brush the insole with a manual or rotating stiff horsehair brush;
9.Polish the insole with a manual or rotating soft nylon brush.
