APPLICATION METHOD WITH WAXING IRON
Drip the paraffin lump on the base for 20 cm, placing it in contact with the base of the waxing iron at a temperature of 140°C. Then spread the wax in a regular back and forth motion (from tip to tail).
Repeat the operation for the entire base and finally perform a continuous passage from tip to tail (approx. 4 cm per second).
Remove the solidified paraffin from the side of the ski and the side of the edges.
Wait at least 15 minutes to allow the wax to solidify and the base to cool and remove the excess wax with a sharp Plexiglas spatula, exerting little pressure.
Remove the impression with a stiff steel hand brush.
Brush the base with a manual or rotating stiff brass brush.
Brush the insole with a manual or rotating stiff horsehair brush.
Polish the insole with a manual or rotating soft nylon brush.
