DESCRIPTION

Liquid paraffin wax with high fluorine content for use as an end product or as a base product for overlaying FP4 fluoride waxes. For use in all snow conditions from -22° to -8°C. Air humidity from 60% to 100%. Recommended cold application with cork pad and brush.

APPLICATION METHODOLOGY

GENERAL PRINCIPLES

The application of hydrocarbon paraffins (Med or Soft Racing Base or BP1), fluorinated hydrocarbon paraffins (LP2 or HP3) and perfluorinated waxes FP4 allows for certain overlaps based on the following chemical affinities:
Hydrocarbon paraffin alone (Med or Soft Racing Base or BP1) or mixed with other hydrocarbon paraffins;
Fluorinated hydrocarbon paraffin alone (LP2 or HP3) or mixed with other hydrocarbon paraffins;
Perfluorinated wax FP4 on its own or mixed with other perfluorinated waxes but in any case superimposed on fluorinated hydrocarbon paraffin (LP2 or HP3) .
The direction in waxing operations must always be from the tip to the tail of the tool.
Race waxing can be carried out hot or cold depending on the physical state of the products and the experience of the skiman.

COLD APPLICATION METHOD WITH CORK PAD AND BRUSH

- Spread the wax on the base for approximately 15 cm with a brush or drip;
- Allow the wax to penetrate into the delivery area while still liquid by rubbing and pressing with a manual cork pad and repeat the operation along the entire base (cork/brush MT0111 is useful);
- Wait at least 15 minutes to allow the wax to solidify;
- Brush the base forwards and backwards applying pressure with a stiff nylon hand brush;
- Polish the impression with manual or rotating soft nylon brush.

HOT AIR GUN APPLICATION METHOD

- Spread wax on the base for approximately 15 cm with a brush or drip;
- Allow the wax to penetrate the delivery area while still liquid by rubbing and pressing with a manual cork pad and repeat the operation along the entire base (cork/brush MT0111 is useful);
- Melt the wax by passing from tip to tail in quick passes with the heat pump squeegee (KZ07000). Adjust the air temperature from 350° to 500° depending on the product applied;
- Wait a minimum of 15 minutes to allow the base to cool and the wax to solidify;
- Brush the base forwards and backwards by applying pressure with a stiff nylon hand brush;
- Polish the impression with manual or rotating soft nylon brush.
